DORA Compliance Guide for Cyprus Financial Entities
A Cyprus DORA guide connecting governance and evidence, with official sources and a bounded provider-review product example.
A Cyprus DORA programme should connect governance, controls, incidents, tests and third-party records. Confirm the entity’s perimeter and exclusions under Article 2 and whether Article 16 applies. Responsibility remains with the firm, not its research software.
Connect the reviewable evidence
Assign owners for ICT risk, recovery arrangements, incident decisions and provider oversight. Maintain current asset and dependency inventories. Test both technical recovery and the ability to assemble the required incident information. Track findings through remediation and validation.
For provider contracts, assess the relevant Article 30 requirements and maintain the register of information in the prescribed format. An exit plan should identify operational dependencies and responsible people. Shared evidence can support several regimes, but DORA, GDPR and sectoral reporting triggers must be tested separately.
Use the current technical standards and competent-authority instructions for reporting templates, timing and submissions. A 90-day internal work plan is not a regulatory grace period.
Illustrative product example: a provider-review briefing
Evaluate Lexis+ for the relevant authority in its licensed collection and Lexis+ AI for a cited summary or first draft. Review a public or anonymised contract question. The example does not establish a DORA module, automated register validation or incident filing, and local-source availability must be confirmed.
